How Our ESD Gate System Works
Step 1: Identity Authentication
Personnel present credentials via RFID card reader, barcode scanner, or biometric system (face recognition/fingerprint).
Step 2: Mandatory ESD Testing
Users perform an electrostatic discharge test using integrated foot plates and wrist strap testers. The system measures resistance values (typically <35MΩ) to verify proper grounding.
Step 3: Automated Access Decision
PASS: Green indicator illuminates, turnstile unlocks instantly
FAIL: Red indicator triggers audible alert; gate remains locked; failed attempt is logged for compliance tracking
Step 4: Data Logging & Compliance
All ESD test results, timestamps, and user IDs are recorded in management software, generating audit-ready reports for ANSI/ESD S20.20 and IEC 61340-5-1 compliance.
